Synopsis for "Journey to Ferimbia"

Alyssa, a student from Kilgore Academy for Gifted Girls, is studying at the school's library, only to be interrupted by her friends, who want her to try out "Avalon", a new drug that has been distributed all over the school. Alyssa agrees and when the drug touches her tongue, Alyssa is suddenly transported to a magical, colorful realm called Ferimbia.

The next day, Power Girl and Supergirl investigate an abandoned lab that was used to produce Avalon. That was the same lab Streaky infiltrated to save the captured animals. The girls are already aware that Kilgore students have been consuming Avalon for the past few days. According to Supergirl, Avalon causes no addiction and its users have not shown any negative side effects after using it. The lab itself has been completely emptied, with no chemical traces left to analyze. That leaves the girls with only one choice: to infiltrate Metropolis University and search for any samples of Avalon.

Power Girl, Supergirl and Omen masquerade as collegue students and Omen uses her telepathy to find a room in which Avalon is being used. Once they enter the room, Omen uses her telepathy to put the students to sleep while Paige finds samples of Avalon. With her telepathy, Omen finds out that two masked men have been supplying the students with the drug and Kara says that they can use one of Steelworks' labs to analyze their samples. As Paige and Kara leave, Omen implants a telepathic suggestion on the students' minds, advising them not to take drugs.

At Steelworks, Paige and Kara begin analyzing their sample and Paige discovers that Avalon contains some kind of biomorph not native of Earth. Using information provided by Omen, Power Girl and Supergirl agree to ambush the drug dealears while they're on their their distribution route. Once they find the drug dealers, whoever, the drug dealers use magic to distract the girls and escape back to their native realm, Ferimbia.

The drug dealers are in fact magical creatures that serve Madame Avice, ruler of Ferimbia, who isn't happy that their subjects failed in their mission. Even so, she wants to continue bringing people to Ferimbia so that she can continue increasing her hive.

Power Girl and Supergirl have come to the conclusion that Ferimbia is indeed a real place, so they decide to go there and continue their investigation. Since they don't want to risk the side effects Avalon could have on Kryptonians, the girls decide to use the symbol left behind by the drug dealers. Power Girl says that, should something go wrong, they could return home with her astral punching.

Touching the symbol works and the girls are instantly transported to Ferimbia, where they are told by Alyssa that nobody that has travelled to Ferimbia has retured home. Power Girl attempts to use her astral punches, but they don't work. Kryptonian powers are also neutralized in Ferimbia, leaving the girls at a huge disadvantage.
