The Powerstone was a gem used by Lex Luthor of Earth-Two.
History
Powers
When Luthor used the gem, the only powers manifested were:
- Energy Absorption: Specifically, the Power Stone could drain Superman's powers.
- Size Alteration
When Ultra-Humanite possessed this artifact, the full potential was released and the artifact manifested the additional abilities:
- Mental Blasts:
- Telepathy
- Force Field
- Telekinesis
- Dimensional Travel: To make the Stone work, the user must combine the Power Stone's abilities with the powers of someone with psychic capabilities (such as Brain Wave).
Notes
- This Powerstone is not to be confused with the stone of the same name used by the Earth-One Superman villain Blackrock.
- In its first appearance, the Powerstone resembled a large diamond. In later appearances, it was colored red and looked more like a large ruby.
