Primus Brainiac (or simply Brainiac) was once the artificial intelligence that operated Krypton's cities, ships, and technology. Following the Fall of Krypton, he seeks to bring the Kryptonian Empire back to its former glory but in his twisted image.
History
The Kryptonian Empire expanded across the universe, but eventually waged a war they could not win. To end the suffering, Jor-El led talks for a ceasefire. Enraged and frightened that he would be decommissioned, Brainiac responded by destroying Krypton on the day the ceasefire was to be announced.[1]
