History

Prince has the power to observe what happens in other parallel universes. In another of these realities, his father was the greatest superhero, leader of the JSA and JLA, and his mother was a supervillain named Dr. Hate. This power made him believe that our reality was "wrong" and he needed to fix it. In our reality his mother was the good Dr. Hass, who tried to help him. Unhappily, in the heat of his madness, Prince killed her.
