Prince Hubert was the son of the rightful king Anglonia, whose father was murdered by his uncle Duke Robert in an attempt to usurp the throne.

History

Hubert was imprisoned awaiting his execution when Steve Trevor and Wonder Woman crash landed outside the Anglonian fortress, confusing matters as Steve was mistaken for an escaped Hubert. Hubert did escape himself shortly thereafter, once confirming that his lady love Signa was unharmed, and joined Steve and the local commoners in defeating Black Robert. Once Robert was defeated the people wanted Hubert to claim the throne as King but he declined and instead instigated a democracy.
