If this tribe has any relationship to [[Paradise Island]] is unknown.

This conjecture does Theo O'Day only Athena's stepfather since she haven't his surname. Or perhaps Princess Power, assuming her maiden name is Tremor, was pregnant while Theo O'Day left her, and she registered Athena without her father's last name.

Princess Power is Athena Tremor's biological mother and Angel O'Day's stepmother.

Pre-Crisis

She fought crime with the Freedom Brigade until retiring twenty years ago. In the 1940's, the Freedom Brigade fought criminals, and Princess Power's biggest rival was the Silver Sorceress. Having been defeated, the Silver Sorceress sought revenge against her old foe.[1]

Princess Power, after reconnecting with her old teammates, pushed Athena to become a hero with the Inferior Five.[2] Later, she and the retired Freedom Brigade members became teachers at Dean Egghead's Academy for Super-Heroes.[3]

Post-Crisis

Princess Power is from a subterranean Amazon tribe discovered by Theo O'Day.[4] Princess Power married Theo O'Day and she mothered a daughter, Athena Tremor. Unable to handle Princess Power's abilities, he left and married another woman, with whom O'Day had another daughter, Angel. After Angel's mother died, Princess Power took the O'Day's in and they remarried.[5]

Years later, when her daughter Athena went to visit Angel and her partner Sam, she mentions that Princess Power passed away years ago.[6]

Powers

Abilities

  • Although this character was originally introduced as an inhabitant of DC's Pre-Crisis Earth-Twelve reality, their existence following the events of the 1985–86 limited series Crisis on Infinite Earths remains intact. However, some elements of the character's Pre-Crisis history may have been altered or removed for Post-Crisis New Earth continuity, and should be considered apocryphal.
  • In Pre-Crisis, Princess Power was a Wonder Woman pastiche. In the Post-Crisis, she is from a subterranean Amazon tribe discovered by Theo O'Day and she is never referred by name or codename (Thus, perhaps she is not codenamed Princess Power in Post-Crisis anyway). If this tribe has any relationship to Paradise Island is unknown.
  • Pre-Crisis, Athena's father was mentioned as Steve Tremor, the "longtime amour" of Princess Power.[7] Post-Crisis, this was changed so her father was Theo O'Day; however, Athena kept the last name Tremor, meaning it was either made Princess Power's maiden name or possibly there is a Steve Tremor in the New Earth continuity, from whom Princess divorced.
