Princess Topaz was the wicked sister of Prince Topaz and an ally of Dark Opal.
History
Eldest child of Lord Topaz. She was in league with Dark Opal and Lady Sapphire in the hope of affirming her power. If her younger brother, Prince Topaz, were to marry into the house of Sapphire, he would lose any claim to the Topaz throne. The plan failed, but the machinations were not in vain. Opal had killed Lord Topaz and made a demonic doppelganger in order to break resistance to the wedding in the house. This was discovered, and the doppelganger was destroyed by Topaz and Amethyst.
Following her father's death, she assumed the title of Lady. She banished her brother, banning him from return to the Topaz Keep.
Years later, Lady Topaz was removed from power in some way. Her brother became the new Lord Topaz.

- Although this character was originally introduced during DC's Earth-One era of publication, their existence following the events of the 1985–86 limited series Crisis on Infinite Earths remains intact. However, some elements of the character's Pre-Crisis history may have been altered or removed for Post-Crisis New Earth continuity, and should be considered apocryphal.
