Walter "Prof" Haley is a brilliant scientist and a founding member of the Challengers of the Unknown. His teammates include Ace Morgan, June Robbins, Red Ryan, and Rocky Davis. Having cheated death once, they exist on borrowed time and have pledged to live their lives to the fullest. Their headquarters is Challengers Mountain. Prof Haley was created by Jack Kirby, first appearing in Showcase #6. (1957)
