• Whether flying at extremely high altitudes and speeds, or diving at very dangerous depths, a Hi-Lo Super Police craft could create a vacuum, by radiating and projecting ahead of itself a tubular wall of cosmic rays, and could then operate in that vacuum at full speed. Deceleration, when needed, was done with an Inertia Absorber.
