History

In an alternate timeline, Project Cadmus was unable to give their Superman clone, named Conal, superpowers. Still needing a hero to replace the late Superman, they cloned Doomsday, the creature that killed him. This clone, named Doomsboy, was raised at Cadmus until he was ready to take the role and responsibility of Superman. Doomsboy would eventually return, shutting down the program by exposing their corrupt nature.[1]
