Promethea #15 is an issue of the series Promethea (Volume 1) with a cover date of August, 2001.
Synopsis for "Mercury Rising"
Stacia and Grace transform into one being, becoming yet another version of Promethea. They manage to destroy, Jellyhead, a new villain on the scene. Later, they overcome the entire "Evil 8" and threaten to go after, and kill, the possessed mayor, Sonny Baskerville.
Meanwhile, in Hod Sophie Bangs and Barbara continue to search for Barbara's late husband. They're met by a giant Hermes who explains the concept of language through chess and mathematics. He takes them to meet Aleister Crowley, Austin Osman Spare and John Dee. Spare then accompanies the two ladies for a short distance to show them where Barbara's husband may have gone.
