Promethea #6 is an issue of the series Promethea (Volume 1) with a cover date of March, 2000.
Synopsis for "A Warrior Princess of Hy Brasil"
While Sophie Bangs lies asleep in a hospital bed, she dreams of the kingdom of Hy Brasil, where Grace Brannagh, as Promethea, saves Sophie from two lizard men who want to eat her. Once rescued, the two are then confronted by the pulp writer, Marto Neptura, who wrote several of the Promethea stories during the 1920s.
This time it is Sophie who saves the day, by "reasoning" that the author's name is a pseudonym of several harmless hacks. Thus, she "reduces" their foe by separating him into smaller parts of a person.
Meanwhile, Benny Solomon arrives in New York and summons a number of demons. He hopes to rid Sophie, while she's still being hospitalized.
