Sophie Bangs, as Promethea, seeks revenge on The Temple for killing Barbara. However, when she locates the last three members from the cult, she finds them hosting a kid's birthday party. She leaves without not wanting to cause any harm to the children.

Meanwhile, Jack Faust, an elderly magician, offers to teach Sophie magic in exchange for sex with Promethea.
