Prometheus is a criminal in Gotham City with an obsessive hatred towards law enforcement.

History

Described as a dark reflection of Batman, Prometheus' parents were gunned down by law enforcement when he was a child. As he grew up, he harbored an intense hatred for police officers and travelled the world similarly to Bruce Wayne, training to become the ultimate murderer.

At some, Prometheus became an active criminal in Gotham, having had Wanted posters printed of him. He was captured by Batman and sent to Arkham Asylum.

Prior to the Joker's takeover of Arkham Asylum, Prometheus escaped custody, never to be seen again.
