 The Pumice People are one of two predominant races on the planet Stoneworld; the other being the Obsidian Folk.

History

There is a longstanding enmity between the two cultures, and this aggression was exasperated when Green Lantern Hal Jordan selected one from each tribe as a representative in his new Green Lantern Corps. From the Pumice People, Hal selected a female (note: the females of this race look like men) named Aa.
