Purd'n, also known as Darkfire by the Gordanians, was one of the most dangerous terrorists in all 3600 sectors.

History

In his campaign of destruction, Darkfire ravaged X'Hal, Tamaran's largest moon. The Green Lantern Tomar-Re was ordered to stop him. Stealing an Intraxian vessel and kidnapping its original occupants, Darkfire escaped to the Lost Sector, where no Green Lantern is allowed to enter. Still, Tomar-Re continued with the pursuit, forcing the ship to crash land on Ryut. Despite a presence that overwhelmed Tomar-Re with fear, the Green Lantern managed to overcome it and defeat Darkfire. With barely enough power to take one person out of the Lost Sector, Purd'n the Green Lantern to execute him and become a cold-blooded killer just like him. Tomar-Re was forced to take Purd'n into custody, leaving the three Intraxians to their fate.
