Queenie was the first ever female accomplice of the Joker and a love interest of Bruce Wayne, whom she would quickly figure out was the vigilante Batman. She was a seductive crime lord who ran her own gang in Gotham City and operated under the criminal alias of Black Queen while working with the Clown Prince of Crime. Later, the name was used as nickname by the first Queen of Clubs of the Royal Flush Gang. There's also another unrelated character named Queenie who is a friend of Harley Quinn.
Queenie was created by Bill Finger and Bob Kane, first appearing in Batman #5. (1941)
