Judge Quentin Gallows was an unbalanced judge from the Dreaming, who operated in the waking world and the land of dreams, as a Judge and as a host for some unexpected tales, even when he had been expelled from duty by his peers.

He once forcibly abducted Abel from his House of Secrets for "jury duty" in his court.[1]

Judge Gallows' last judgement was against Cain, who was sentenced to live on the waking world for killing his brother, Abel. Abel tried to bring Cain back to the Dreaming, as his absence was unbalancing Earth. Judge Gallows wouldn't allow that, so he condemned both brothers and Matthew the Raven to death. When trying to enact his sentence on Cain, he struck a hit on him, and realized that he was condemned himself by the Mark of Cain, and was swiftly killed by God by different and successive weird accidents.

  • Immortality: Gallows is a figment of human imagination given form, and as such he does not physically age.
