Enigma, real name Quinn Nash, is the daughter of the Riddler and a love interest of Batwoman. She used to be a student at Arkham Academy and now attends Gotham University.

Early Life

Quinn Nash was born to the Riddler, a super-villain enemy of Batman who commits crimes revolving around an obsession with riddles, whom called her Enigma as a nickname, which she would later on use as her super-villain alias.[1] Her father would go on to be mentally abusive towards her, pushing Quinn to be just as smart as him. When Quinn failed to show this, Riddler tried to kill her for not being as smart as him.[2]

Arkham Academy

At some point when she became a teenager, Quinn became the riddle-based mediocre super-villain Enigma and was sent to Arkham Academy, a school of super-villains secretly ran by the Court of Owls[3], to be apart of it's first ever class. There she met the other students, such as like L'il Kitten, the self-proclaimed sidekick of Catwoman; The Noise, the girl with the sonic scream; Deathtrap, El Sombrero's cybernetically enhanced son; Wannabe Wilson, a straight-jacket clad teen who dreams of becoming an A-List super-villain.

After the arrival of Scorn, the Wrath's son, orientation day had officially begun and everyone was called to the classroom, now having a full class. There Dr. Olivia Otus brings in the class' first professor, the chained up Killer Croc.[2] L'il Kitten then, with the help of Enigma, makes the whole class laugh at their new professor. Killer Croc then breaks loose from his chains, corners all the students, and kills L'il Kitten.[4] Soon, all students discover that the weapons they have on them have been activated, with Enigma using her staff to electrocute Killer Croc, whom they eventually defeat.[3]
