Qurina Vint of Calados is the Green Lantern of Sector 282.

History
Originally a police officer, she was recruited by her ring during a drug bust. With the ring, she made short work of the dealers, and then headed to Oa.
She was inducted as part of Krona's war to destroy the Corps. When the war was over and all recent additions handed in their rings, Qurina decided not to. She was the first Green Lantern from her planet, and she was a police officer, so she decided to stay in the Corps.
