- Seemingly sharing some of the history of his New Earth counterpart, Ra-Man was once a separate being from Mark Merlin but was later resurrected with the mind and powers of Mark.[1]
- Ra-Man was created by Bob Haney and Bernard Baily, first appearing in House of Secrets #73. However, in the Prime Earth continuity, Ra-Man first appeared as part of the New 52 DC Universe in Midnighter and Apollo #1 by Steve Orlando and Fernando Blanco.
