Rachel Green was Bruce Wayne's personal lawyer.

She represented Bruce when he sued to block the sale of 624 West Harding Road during his campaign against the Penguin as both Batman and Bruce Wayne. She objected when Bruce was called to the stand, but he convinced the judge he had no ulterior motives in destroying the building. Bruce took Rachel out to dinner to celebrate, and as they were leaving, his bodyguard Sasha Bordeaux saved Rachel from being shot. After speaking to Commissioner Gordon, Bruce decided to drop the case.[1]

She represented Bruce when he petitioned to adopt his former ward Dick Grayson.[2] She informed him there was a challenge to his petition,[3] but the adoption eventually went through.

She defended him when he was framed for the murder of Vesper Fairchild and attempted to have him released on his own recognizance at his bail hearing, but her motion was denied because Bruce was deemed a flight risk. Afterwards she met Alfred Pennyworth, who handed her five million dollars in cash in case she should win the appeal.[4]

After David Cain's confession, she accompanied Bruce to GCPD Headquarters where Bruce noted how hard she was on Maggie Sawyer when she demanded the GCPD release a statement absolving Bruce of any guilt in Vesper's death. Bruce wanted her to assist with Sasha's appeal to get her conviction overturned, but Sasha refused any help from him and seemingly died in prison, rending the matter moot.[5]

When Renee Montoya was framed for murder by Two-Face, Bruce paid for Rachel to defend her.[6]
