History

When Doomsday threatened Calaton, the powerful Royal House decided to create the Radiant. They sacrificed themselves to make a powerful being of living energy. The first time Radiant was created, he was successful in defeating Doomsday, but unfortunately Doomsday evolved past his previous defeat, so that when the Radiant was recreated again in an attempt to defeat him, he failed and was torn apart by Doomsday using his own energies against him.
