Radu Stancu is the proprietor of Radu's Coffee Shop in Greenwich Village and Kyle Rayner's landlord.
History
Radu moved from Romania to the United States trying to escape from a dictatorship affecting his homeland.[1] At Greenwich Village, he set up a coffee shop specialized on twenty-six different blends of coffee. However, much to his disappointment, his clients don't take the time to "sit and sip" and enjoy his place instead of rushing out. He welcomed Kyle Rayner when he moved to New York and gave him an apartment upstairs.[2] Soon, they became pretty close friends. Kyle frequents his coffee shop and designed the logo for Radu's business.

Multilingualism: although with strong accent, Radu speaks English; his native language is Romanian.
