Randal Sheridan was the assistant principal at Manchester Junior High School.

History

He met the somewhat wild and unusual student Bart Allen who unbeknownst to him was acting as Manchester's resident teen super-hero Impulse. Sheridan came to suspect that Bart's friend and classmate Preston Lindsay had an abusive home life due to injuries but as Preston insisted they were from his own clumsiness Sheridan could do little else but pull Bart aside and ask him to keep an eye on his friend. Eventually the truth of the situation came out and Preston's home life improved as his mother was moved out of the house for treatment and observation and his father started going to counseling.
