Synopsis for "Betrayed"

Kyle Rayner, Captain Comet and Kilowog succeed at terraforming Thanagar and making it suitable for life once again. Comet leaves to help on Rann but Kilowog prevents Rayner from going, saying it's not their place to intervene.

Tigorr and Khundian mercenaries rescue Sardath and Alanna, who are battling Thanagarians. The group makes their way to Mount Ebalon where the Rannian zeta beam technology is hidden.

Hawkman and Hawkwoman pretend Komand'r is a prisoner to gain access to New Thanagar's prison. Upon rescuing the Grand Mol, Komand'r betrays them, killing Hawkwoman, and escaping with the Thanagarian leader. Onimar Synn begins to attack Hawkman, Hawkgirl and Adam Strange, who are rescued by Captain Comet. The group escapes to Mount Ebalon, but Synn tracks them there.
