Raquel Ervin is Rocket, the sidekick of Icon.

History

When Raquel was younger she fell in with a bad crowd. Her crew broke into Augustus Freeman's home to rob him and he used his alien powers to drive them away. Raquel was amazed by him and believed that he could use his powers for the good of the community. She convinced him to become a superhero, with Raquel as his sidekick Rocket.

Notes

• Rocket was created by Dwayne McDuffie, Denys Cowan, and M.D. Bright, first appearing in Icon #1. However, the DCAU version of Rocket first appeared in Superman & Batman Magazine #7 by Ivan Velez, Jr., Jim Sherman, and Prentis Rollins.
• This version of Rocket did not appear in any of the DCAU's animated series.
