Along with the rest of the Monitors, Ray-Lan set out to wipe out all universes.

History

Because of this, Ray-Lan destroyed Earth-2, then pursued survivor Chloe Sullivan to Earth-1 and killed her. A few months later, Ray-Lan was captured in Russia on Earth-1, where Lex Luthor demanded answers to his activities. However, Ray-Lan managed to break out and escape Earth. This led to a confrontation with Superman, which ended with Ray-Lan being killed.
