  • This is Tommy Tomorrow's fourth published adventure, and the first based on a alternative future of 1988, and the first where he is a member of the Planeteers. Keeping in mind his three previous adventures, Tomorrow have a minimum age of 46 now and he has not risen from rank (Colonel) since 1967. It is unknown if the Greater Gotham where the Tommy Tomorrow's story begins is the same as Gotham City; It is called capitol of the 9 Planets because the status of Pluto as a planet in the time the story was written.
  • Last appearance of Tommy Tomorrow in Real Fact Comics. Next he moves to Action Comics, beginning with #127.

  • Tommy Tomorrow story: It is mentioned in this story that Tommy Tomorrow is married and fathered at least two children.
    • Actually, the collision of a comet with the sun would not cause any damage to the Earth (given the distance and gigantic size of the Sun in relation to the comet), then the whole story would be to rain in the wet if applied to the real world. However, it may be that the laws of physics act differently in the Universe of the Earth-54.
