Red, White and Blue were three mismatched US enlisted men: one marine, one soldier, and one sailor, who became a team of Military Intelligence operatives, coordinated by G-2 agent Doris West. Together they created some serious problems for the Axis, during World War II.
History
Three young men from the town of Oakville were tight friends for years, before graduating high school and joining three separate branches of the U.S. armed forces. Red Dugan joined the Marines, and became a sergeant; Blooey Blue joined the Navy and became a Petty Officer, and Whitey Smith joined the Army as a Private. They were thrown back together by chance, in Panama, where they became embroiled in the thwarting of an Axis plot against the Panama Canal. Informally at first, and then under G-2 direction, the three were associated with Military Intelligence, and their contact person with G-2 was secret agent Doris West. Over the next few years, code-named Red, White and Blue, they thwarted a great deal of Axis mischief.
Notes
- This version of Red, White and Blue (Earth-Two), including all history and corresponding appearances, was erased from existence following the collapse of the original Multiverse in the 1985–86 Crisis on Infinite Earths event and later restored following the rebirth of the infinite Multiverse during the Dark Crisis of 2022-2023. Even though other versions of the character may have appeared, this information does not apply to those versions.
