Synopsis for "Desert First, Then Dinner!"
Roy Harper sits alone in the desert waiting for a government trade-off, he thinks back to his time with the Outlaws until the vehicles arrive. He spots Tara Battleworth, a famous "fixer", and phones her to warn her about the dangers of trading with the cartel. She hangs up on him.
The Senator arrives with the cartel and, as foretold, a particularly surly member of the cartel leads the betrayal of the Senator and plan to flee over the Mexican border with all the money using the CIA Agent and the Senator as hostages.
Roy races in to prevent this but doing so gets the Senator shot dead. Roy takes cover with Tara and the two plan an attack but mid-way through, as Tara is caught by the lead cartel member, the dead Senator sits up and shoots the captor.
The Senator's body fades revealing Red Hood had been imitating him. The battle commences and the "heroes" emerge victorious. Jason shows the others an unconscious and hog-tied Senator in the back of a car and the duo leave, taking with them a briefcase of cash as payment.
Tara offers them work if they ever were to go straight. The two ex-Outlaws laugh about it and a week later find themselves in Paris being shot at.
