Synopsis for "Prince of Gotham, Part Four"
Jason Todd stands atop a building reminiscing about his father when Isabel Ardila appears and tries to cheer him up before her flight the following day. He goes down to the ground floor where Wingman is waiting to chauffeur Jason back to the Iceberg Lounge, they discuss where Jason is now compared to where he was previously but Suzie Su opens the car door at the Gotham Docks.
Suzie express her concerns for her sisters and she implores Jason to treat them less like staff and more like family. Jason then embarks on a ship headed back toward the Lounge, leaving Wingman and Suzie on the dock. Jason knows that Essence is waiting for him and as he nears the Lounge she appears. He takes a moment to think back to his innocent days with the All-Caste before dropping his crowbar and katana.
As the two launch into combat, both pull out their spiritual weapons, Jason using his all-blades, and Essence with her blood blades. The two whirl their blades at one another and the two seem on equal footing until Jason starts to anger Essence, he pushes her until she lunges at him and spears him through the chest with her blood blades.
Jason reveals his plot and Essence is absorbed into the blood blades which, it is revealed, come with a stipulation - they must never draw the blood of an innocent lest the wielder be trapped within. Jason then takes the blades, with Essence trapped within, and places them in a safe in his office, but behind him The Penguin levels his pistol at Jason's back.
