Synopsis for "Part Three, School"

Jason trains with Egon, a German assassin who teaches him the lethal techniques which Batman omitted from his combat training as Robin. After a brutal sparring match with one of Egon's men, Egon insists that Jason get his injuries for the fight assessed, since if Jason dies from fighting with untreated serious injuries, he'll lose out on the fee Jason is paying him.

Ninety days earlier, Talia and a subordinate/lover discuss her attempts to stall Jason's planned revenge on Batman by encouraging him to acquire the skills he would need for any eventuality, including guns and toxins as well as Egon's training. The subordinate encourages her to turn Jason over to her father or to Batman, but Talia is reluctant, since Ra's would kill him and Bruce would never forgive her for keeping Jason away from him for so long.

We see Jason's initial arrival at Egon's compound. The man who drove him in inquires about how someone so young can afford to train with Egon, but is soon kicked in the head and stomped into the snow by Egon himself, who is furious that he brought Jason in through the wrong entrance. Jason, who has been pretending his German is much worse than it actually is, watches their conversation with interest, and notes the trucks coming in through that entrance which Egon didn't want him to see, and which Jason suspects have a human cargo.

Jason's movements in the compound are closely controlled and monitored, but one night when the man who is supposed to be watching him goes off duty to visit a woman of his acquaintance, he sneaks off to explore. He soon finds a building containing forty-two chained and drugged Asian children, all under ten years old. While going through the cryptic records of the slavery business in Egon's office, Jason hears the kids being loaded into a truck. He hijacks the truck a ways down the road from the compound, drives the kids to the British embassy, and returns to fight Egon.

Egon quickly gains the upper hand and mocks Jason for thinking that the training he's received would be enough to defeat Egon. Jason replies that he didn't think it would be enough, which is why he poisoned Egon's energy drink. After Egon dies, Jason burns the compound to the ground to cover his tracks. Discussing the matter with Talia afterward, Jason explains that Egon was too well-connected to turn into the authorities, and that the world is better off with him dead. Talia smiles at this development in Jason's outlook.
