Synopsis for "MissionCreep"

After being captured by Amanda Waller, the Outlaws and the Suicide Squad are sent into the Arctic Circle to instigate and prevent the destruction of a secret Colony base, which stands to destroy the Earth should it detonate. The two teams enter the base and Bizarro takes control, splitting the teams into pairs tasked with different responsibilities - something the Squad are not too happy about, though their leader Harley Quinn does not disagree with Bizarro.

Splitting up, Red Hood and Killer Croc trael through the sewers (much to Croc's dismay) and discover the corpse of Harvest crucified near boxes of equipment. Jason becomes enamoured with the new futuristic tech but Croc warns him that all his anger only pulls him away from his friends. Elsewhere, Harley Quinn and Artemis find a chasm filled with death. Artemis takes a moment to pray for the lost while Harley becomes frustrated and irritates Artemis.

In the main chamber, Bizarro, Captain Boomerang and Deadshot wonder how to get near enough to the core without being eviscerated. Bizarro explains that he cannot get close due to his Kryptonian physiology and sends Boomerang and Deadshot in, they get half-way before discovering that Bizarro has disappeared. They manage to stop the core from exploding but as they turn back, grumbling about Bizarro, he reappears explaining that there were Kryptonite wavelengths which would have hit him if he had stayed with them.

With the mission now complete the teams head back to the Quantum Door, in the door is Amanda Waller who thanks the Outlaws for their help but threatens to add them into the Squad the minute they step out of line. Later, back in their headquarters, Jason reflects on how independent and distant Bizarro has become while elsewhere Bizarro stands over an ominous rock of Kryptonite.
