Synopsis for "Now Hiring"
Ben, a henchman for hire, receives a job offer from the HenchMates app that will bring him face to face with the Outlaws.
Red Hood breaks into the room of Jakoby Frum, the alleged Avocado King of Belgium, and seriously considers killing him. When he wakes up, Red Hood accuses him of being in Gotham to sell munitions to the Penguin. He is intimidated into leaving empty-handed.
Artemis and Bizarro are having an early breakfast in a diner, at which Artemis confronts Bizarro about why he’s been manipulating the team. He evades the question until Jason comes in and joins them.
They leave the diner and seemingly go their separate ways. Jason uses a cloaking device in his suit (one apparently built by Bizarro) to follow him into the Lenox Hotel.
We also see Ben entering the Lenox Hotel, where he sees a fellow henchman who he once worked with. As he turns to leave, it’s revealed that Bizarro has summoned many of the city’s henchman into this one room. He releases a poison gas, but a change of heart causes him to use his ice breath to disperse the gas. He tells them all that this is their second chance to do better with their lives. Red Hood de-cloaks himself, and asks if Bizarro only did that because he was there. He says he did it because he felt ashamed.
Meanwhile, Artemis is sneaking into Bizarro’s apartment. She finds a trap door that leads down into a room full of tanks of Green Kryptonite. Bizarro enters behind her in a vaguely menacing manner to close the issue.
