The Red Lantern Corps are wielders of the rage aspect of the Emotional Electromagnetic Spectrum.

History

During the Massacre of Sector 666, the Mahunters killed all but five inhabitants of Sector 666. Among those survivors was Atros, who rebranded himself Atrocitus and sought vengeance against the Guardians of the Universe. He eventually created an inversion of the Guardians' Green Lantern Corps, harnessing rage instead of will.
