Synopsis for "Godhead Act I, Part V: God Is Red"

Guy Gardner and Ice recline on a beach in Dubai, coincidentally across from the country of Qurac where the Quraci leader Shahkavat is testing his new powers to dedicate his golden statue. His celebration is short-lived as Guy destroys the statue and attacks.

Into their midst Booms Malhedron and The Wheel, who flatten Shahkavat before turning on Guy Gardner and demand the Red Power Ring. Like all the other Lanterns, Guy's power cannot stand against the New Gods. A Green shield appears, protecting Guy from Malhedron's killing hammer blow, and Simon Baz quickly explains the situation -- and that they must run. Guy will not, and as they prepare to die fighting, Malhedron is called away to assist Highfather in securing the White Lantern. For Guy Gardner, Red Lantern, the only option is a counter-attack!
