History
Red Tornado was planned to be sent to blow up a key Nazi facility that housed a breach to Earth-1. General Schott was inclined to let several heroes from other Earths have a chance to return through the breach before he launched the Red Tornado, but he launched anyway ahead of schedule. The Flash and The Ray were able to destroy the Red Tornado before it reached the facility.
