History

The Soviets first used the Red Tornado in the 1968 Czechoslovakian War when it exploded and wiped out the Czech town of Pilsen with horrific results, which it also cost the life of the American superhero Captain Comet. The weapon was considered to be the most deadliest doomsday weapon that cannot be competed by the United States.

However, an intact Red Tornado warhead was discovered by the Czech resistance and relayed this news to the Americans, in which they sent a six-man covert team, the Metal Men, to retrieve the warhead and using it as a bargaining chip to force the Soviets to broker peace and ending the war. When the Metal Men found the warhead, their leader Commander Marcus Moore decided to have it armed and launch at Moscow as he wanted to end the war in America's favor. But his lieutenant and close friend Samuel Schwartz was against this and refused to unleash the weapon on a civilian population. Their ideals forced them to nearly to kill each other, and Moore was shot by Czech resistance fighter Raven. The Red Tornado was eventually brought into American possession and successfully ending the war between the U.S. and the U.S.S.R.
