Reese Cahill aka Horizon is a metahuman and would-be Vigilante.
History
Reese Cahill fled Gotham City and tried to hide out in Coral City. Batgirl tracked him there and and after a brief scuffle, the citizens of Coral City confront her, stating that she isn't welcome in The 'Tweens and Cahill escapes. While on the run, Cahill is spotted by two cops. Before they can even investigate, Reese unleashes a blast of solar energy, burning them to death. As he walks away, Reese insists that he is a hero.[1]
Katharsis tracks him down and asks to hear his story. While sharing his history, the two have sex on a rooftop. Katharsis assures him that he only killed in self-defense, and she will protect him. They find Batgirl and the rest of the team, with the police on the way. Virtue reveals that Horizon had killed two cops less than an hour before. Confused, Horizon admits that he doesn't know what happened, but he would rather die than go to a place like Arkham Asylum. Katharsis prepares to execute him, but Batgirl tackles her, sparing Horizon's life. Batgirl assures them that she will check in on Horizon in prison.[2]
