Professional History

Renae De Liz is an artist and writer, and the creator and manager of the Womanthology project, which encompasses a series of anthologies showcasing the work of women in comics. She frequently works in collaboration with her husband, Ray Dillon, who inks and colours her art.

De Liz has drawn critical acclaim for her work as artist of the New York Times bestselling adaptation of The Last Unicorn and as writer and artist of the Eisner-nominated all-ages series The Legend of Wonder Woman. The latter was renewed for a second series to be published in 2017, however a reportedly challenging working relationship with DC led to the title's cancellation in December 2016.[1]

De Liz and Dillon have received criticism for their handling of commissions and crowdfunded projects such as Peter Pan and Womanthology, with complaints of years-long delays and failure to deliver purchased artwork and rewards.[2][3]
