Writer, editor, producer and publisher Renee Witterstaetter first worked in comics on Superman at DC Comics and Silver Surfer, Conan The Barbarian and Conan Saga at Marvel, then going on to edit the reintroduction of She-Hulk at Marvel. She then moved over to Topps Comics where she was the editor on X-Files, Jurassic Park, Xena and Hercules and the co-creator—with artist Michael Golden-- of the series, Spartan X.
During this time, Renee was also the colorist on hundreds of comics from the Avengers to Spiderman to Captain America. She is the author of : "Dying for Action: The Life and Films of Jackie Chan" from Warner Publishing; "The Fantastic Art of Arthur Suydam" from Vanguard Productions; "The Art of the Barbarian" from Image/Eva Ink; "Excess: The Art of Michael Golden" from Vanguard Productions; "Tex: The Art of Mark Texeira,"from Vanguard Productions; "Kerry and the Scary Things," from Hot Attack; "Nick Cardy: The Artist at War" from Eva Ink and Titan Publishing; and "Nick Cardy: Wit-Lash."
She is a member of the Society of Illustrators in Manhattan.
Renee is the President of Little Eva Ink Publishing and Little Eva Ink Toys. Renee is also currently working in artist management via Eva Ink Artist Group.
