Rex Calabrese

Rex "The Lion" Calabrese was a powerful crime lord in Gotham City's underworld long before the Batman emerged. He was eventually pushed out of his position by Carmine Falcone and incarcerated in Blackgate Penitentiary. He was the father of Catwoman in the original Prime Earth timeline, but that was eventually retconned as part of DC Rebirth.

Rex Calabrese was created by James Tynion IV, Scott Snyder, Ray Fawkes, John Layman, Tim Seeley, and Jason Fabok, first appearing in Batman Eternal #14 (2014).
