Rex Cosmos (Earth-Two)

Rex Cosmos investigated the mysterious disappearance of six U.S. ships near the Galápagos Islands, along with his colleagues Professor Shanley and Brut von Henig. He was also joined by his fiancee Joan Shanley and cab driver Axel Yoke.^[1]

Rex and his team soon discovered that the wizard-pirate Captain Kiddlaw was behind the disappearance of the ships. They infiltrated the wizard-pirate's underwater dome, but were quickly captured and taken prisoner by Kiddlaw. Rex and Axel escaped by sheer luck due to an accident, and came across the crews of the missing ships.^[2]^[3]

The crews had gone insane, and were ruled by a horrendous queen, who wanted Rex to marry her. Rex discovered that she was secretly Renée, Kiddlaw's sweetheart, whom the crews detested. Rex threatened to expose her, and in return, she used a dizzy-gas to drug him, and convince him to marry her.^[4]^[5]

Photo-Light Wave: The Hi-Lo has this installed as a communications equipment, similar to a video call.
Photoray Mapper: The Hi-Lo has this installed as a surveyance tool.

Hi-Lo: The Super Police's stratoplane-submarine, invented by Professor Shanley.

Ray Pistol: Rex's weapon of choice.

Notes

This version of Rex Cosmos, including all history and corresponding appearances, was erased from existence following the collapse of the original Multiverse in the 1985–86 Crisis on Infinite Earths event and later restored following the rebirth of the infinite Multiverse during the Dark Crisis of 2022-2023. Even though other versions of the character may have appeared, this information does not apply to those versions.
