Richard Daniel was a member of the Board of Directors for the Gotham City National Bank.

History

He was bribed by Carmine Falcone to allow the Mafia boss to launder his illegal money which was stockpiled. When Batman discovered that Daniel was taken bribes from Falcone, he confronted Daniel at his penthouse and warned him to keep Falcone's money out of the bank. The next day, Daniel resigned from the Board of Directors. At this point, Daniel knew Falcone would want him dead, and planned on fleeing to France with his wife. Before fleeing the country, Daniel was gunned down in a drive-by outside a movie theater, on the orders of Falcone.
