Synopsis for "The Preying Mantis!"

On the mild hope that it might help reveal who has taken out an assassination contract on Ben Turner, Richard Dragon, Turner and Lady Shiva journey to the island of San Lorenzo at Barney Ling's invitation. "Flying Saucer Rumors" about a criminal with an insect-shaped head are affecting tourist trade on the Island. The trio must contend with amateur bounty hunters out to capture the "freak" for money. The trio easily wins in fights against them.

Dragon encounters the "Preying Mantis", who had turned to crime in dismay after plastic surgeons the world over had told him there was no hope for his condition. He proved to be a skilled combatant, claiming he had learned martial arts from watching insects battle.

Dragon wins the fight on dangerous territory in an abandoned fort high above the ground.
