Doctor Occult, the legendary Ghost Detective is a famous magician who operated primarily during World War II.
History
He became the owner of the House of Secrets at an unknown point in time and decided to vanish and live there. He was attacked and killed by Nick Necro while attempting to defend the house from him. Nick Necro subsequently became the new owner of the House of Secrets.[1]

- Doctor Occult was created by Joe Shuster and Jerry Siegel, first appearing in New Fun Comics #6. However, in the Prime Earth continuity, Doctor Occult first appeared as part of the New 52 DC Universe in Justice League Dark #12 by Jeff Lemire and Mikel Janin.
