Rick Tyler is the second superhero known as Hourman. His parents are Rex Tyler, the original Hourman, and Wendi Harris. Like his father, he uses the drug Miraclo to give him powers such as increased strength and durability for exactly one hour. He began his career as a member of Infinity, Inc. before becoming a member of the Justice Society. His wife is Jesse Chambers, who has gone by the superhero names Jesse Quick and Liberty Belle. Matthew Tyler was briefly his successor as Hourman before Rick reclaimed the title. Rick Tyler was created by Roy Thomas, Dann Thomas, and Todd McFarlane, first appearing in Infinity Inc. #20. (1985)
