- The Riddler was created by Bill Finger and Dick Sprang, first appearing in Detective Comics #140. However, the Dark Knights of Steel version of The Riddler first appeared in Dark Knights of Steel: Tales from the Three Kingdoms #1 by Tom Taylor and Caspar Wijngaard.
- This character is never identified by name but is clearly inspired by The Riddler from the mainstream comics.
