Rita Farr, also known as Elasti-Girl, is a chipper and compassionate member of the Doom Patrol with size-altering abilities.
History
Joining the Doom Patrol
Rita Farr became a metahuman with the ability to change her size at will. She joined the Doom Patrol and became the superhero known as Elasti-Girl. She became attracted to her teammate Negative Man, and gained attraction from her other teammate, Robotman.[1]
Defeating Immortus
When the Doom Patrol were tasked with taking down General Immortus before he could get his hands on volatile alien technology, Elasti-Girl hid shrunken down in a compartment in Robotman's head. When Immortus incapacitated Robotman with a ray gun, Elasti-Girl came out and destroyed the ray, allowing Robotman to take out Immortus and save the day.[2]
Fighting a Giant Robot
On a later mission to stop the Brotherhood of Evil from stealing the Statue of Liberty with their giant robot Rog, the Doom Patrol, after a failed attempt from Negative Man, was able to incapacitate Rog with a kick from a sized-up Elasti-Girl, taking out the Brotherhood. After their success, Robotman flirted with her, but she turned him down and later tried her own hand with Negative Man, who ultimately turned her down out of fear.[1]
Madame Rouge
After this, the Doom Patrol went on many rescue missions, all of which went very badly. The Chief came to the conclusion it had to be an imposter in their midst, a spy posing as a member of the Doom Patrol and sabotaging all their missions. However, an error in his grammar caused Negative Man to realize the truth: the Chief was the imposter, and was trying draw suspicion away from himself. Larry exposed "him", and the phony Chief revealed himself to be Madame Rouge in disguise. Rouge grabbed all three of the remaining members of the team in her elongated hands and began crushing them, offering them seemingly no escape.[3]

- This version of the character is exclusive to the continuity of the Doom Patrol animated shorts and is an adaptation of Rita Farr/Elasti-Girl. The original character was created by Arnold Drake, Bob Haney, and Bruno Premiani and first appeared in My Greatest Adventure #80.
- Elasti-Girl was voiced by Kari Wahlgren.
